The Mary Chilton Chapter NSDAR meets ten times a year for lunch or dinner meetings which include chapter business and a program. We also hold a President’s Day tea in February and a joint meeting of our chapter and the Mary Chilton DAR Foundation in March.

Our chapter holds a Geni Gals special interest group once per month where we assist members and prospective members with applications and supplementals.

Our chapter sends delegates annually to the South Dakota Society DAR State Conference and Continental Congress.

In addition, our members are very active in our communities. For several years, we have participated in "Bells Across America" to launch Constitution Week.  "Bells Across America" is a countrywide event where churches and bell ringers play at the same time across all time zones to launch the weeklong celebration.

Our Americanism committee is very involved with the naturalization ceremonies in Sioux Falls and our Service to Veterans and Project Patriot Committees are actively finding opportunities to serve our veterans in and around Sioux Falls.
